Nuclear Power does NOT make Transportation Fuel

Tonight I watched the third and final presidential debate. For me, one of the primary issues facing America is our energy future. I’ve keenly watched and listen to the energy policy of both candidates. First and foremost, I must ask Senator McCain how it is that he intends to solve the crude oil issue (Foriegn Oil) with Nuclear Power? Last time we checked, a Nuclear Power Plant was using a chemical reaction to generate heat to boil water to turn a steam turbine to make GRID electricity. Nuclear Power does NOT make Transportation Fuel
Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that Mr. McCain is for the expansion of the national grid for the building of electric cars, which we are all for, electric cars are VERY good things. However, this is not talked about by Senator McCain. The undying love and affection to the oil companies have to make someone think, what is Senator McCain really thinking?
Nuclear Fuel is the most dangerous thing man has ever created, why in the world do we want to mine more uranium to make more nuclear rods to fuel a condition in the world that just isn’t necessary?
I heard Senator Obama mention geothermal tonight. Geothermal is the answer… More to come!
One Response to “Nuclear Power does NOT make Transportation Fuel”
Crisply stated and I completely agree.

We need a leader who will do that, not drill baby drill!
